Three baptisms!

Hello everyone!
Not long has passed since I last wrote, but things have been really good! We have still been really busy, but hopefully this next week will be a bit calmer. We had two baptisms this last Saturday, and the other Elders in our area had a baptism too. It was a great day. Johnatan, from Mexico, and Madelin, from the Dominican Republic (shoutout to Elder Josh Davis) got baptized.

Johnatan is the one whose brother in Mexico got baptized 9 months ago. His brother invited him to go to church, which he did, but he wasn't really interested, until he came here to study in the University. He felt prompted to seek out the church, and he showed up, and the lessons that day changed him and inspired him to turn to God again in his life. Since then he's been super happy and excited. We even got to have a lesson with Johnatan and his brother through videochat. His brother was super happy to see how much Johnatan had changed, and was ready to be baptized. A member from Uruguay, Hermano Duarte, baptized and confirmed him.

Madelin, after working with her for a long time, was finally ready too. She's changed a lot, and has found a lot of peace and happiness through the gospel. It's been harder for her, but because of that, the blessings in her life have been great. She wanted me to baptize her, and our branch mission leader, Julio, confirmed on Sunday.

The other person who got baptized was Marisol, from Peru. The other Elders were blessed to be able to teach her because of how prepared she was. It was nice to be able to share the happiness between the 4 of us missionaries of seeing people we care for get baptized.

Last Friday the Elders from Zamora came down for intercambios. I went with Elder Jager, a missionary from Germany! It was fun. He's a very hard worker and we saw some cool little miracles that day.

Currently, our zone is struggling with finding people to teach and keeping the general morale up, but Elder Douglas and I are doing our best to find something to help everyone. If we turn to the Lord with our problems, we can receive specific answers, as we ponder and do our best to solve them ourselves. We have faith that the Lord will help us to do His work.
I love you all!
Saludos desde Valladolid,
Elder Dobbs
