Another beautiful week in paradise. The week started out with intercambios with the zone leaders in Madrid Centro. I went with Elder Knapp, from Kansas. It was really good. We had a fun lesson with an older Dominican guy, which was as fun as any lesson with someone from the Dominican Republic is.
We also had zone conference on Friday. They talked about the Restoration, and how that's really the central part of what we teach. Even though our church centers on Jesus Christ, the Restoration is what sets us apart, and everything that we teach depends on whether Joseph Smith was telling the truth. And if you read the Book of Mormon, you can know for yourself.
We had stake conference yesterday in Pavones, and some friends who live in Valladolid came to Madrid for the weekend and went to stake conference with us. Our convert Jonathan came too, and it was good to see him because he went back to Mexico that afternoon. It was great to see them.
Things are going really good in our area. We're meeting some cool people who have some potential. Elder Jones is doing good, and it's fun being with him.
