Merry Christmas to all! Feliz Navidad!!!
Just a quick summary of this last week. The main highlights were service and singing in Madrid. On Tuesday, our zone helped out a charity foundation in Madrid, organizing and wrapping gifts to give out to kids. It was a lot of fun, and it was cool to see how many people and other companies donated gifts.
On Thursday we helped a family in the ward rake leaves. Definitely a first on my mission. The family has a son who just left on a mission and they were having other relatives over for Christmas, but didn't have time to do everything.
On Friday and Saturday morning, we went over to another member family's house and helped them paint their apartment. Service is always a fun change of pace. If you need help, ask the missionaries!
Also, on Tuesday and Thursday night we got to sing in Madrid with our choir. It was super cool. On Tuesday we sang in the Plaza Mayor, and on Thursday in a smaller plaza close by. It was really cool. I loved singing Christmas carols and looking out into the crowd of people watching us, seeing some of them smiling, then also seeing my companion and Elder Allan talking to people.
For Christmas Eve we ate dinner with some members who were really nice. I don´t know them too well, but my companion did and it was a good dinner. Today for Christmas we opened presents, and relaxed because it was preparation day. It was also really cold outside, so we were glad we didn't have to go out.
I love you all, and wish you a very Merry Christmas!!!

PS. From Corey's mom: I'm not sure why a blog post from July was randomly sent out by the blog to so many of you last week. We'll just chalk it up to a Throwback Thursday post! :) Merry Christmas!
