Hey all!
This week was definitely an awesome week. Yesterday, our investigator Felipe had his baptismal interview and he passed! He is definitely one of the most humble and repentant people I know. He was super prepared for baptism. We hardly had any work to do with him, but he's awesome. Super nice, and we're planning on having the baptism this Saturday. Even cooler is that he's actually Spanish! We moslty baptize a lot of Latin Americans so it's always cool to baptize Spanish people.
Today for our p-day we pitched in for a member to rent a car and we visited some cool places. First of all, the fact that we had to drive an hour through the countryside to get there and we were still in our proselyting area says a lot. But, we drove to the top of a peak called Peña de Francia. There was an awesome monastery up there and we had an amazing view of everything. Then we visited a couple super pretty and small towns nearby, called La Alberca and Mogarraz. Mogarraz has this thing where on the side of the houses, they have engraved pictures of the generations of family that have owned the house. We went inside the main catholic church in La Alberca, which is always interesting to see. I've seen better and prettier churches, though.
Besides that, we haven't done too much. We were in Madrid at the beginning of the week for interviews with President Pack, a zone conference with a seventy, Elder Ulisses Soares, which was awesome and inspiring, and exchanges with the zone leaders.
I hope you all have a great week!
Elder Dobbs
