This week in Guadalajara has been another interesting one. First of all, on Friday and Saturday it rained a lot, then the weather turned really windy and cold. It makes working in the street a little harder but still, I think I'd rather have this than 95-100 degree weather like it was when I first got here. Also relating to the weather, my companion Elder Molina has been kind of sick so on Friday when he woke up after having been sick for a week and he saw that it was raining, he finally decided to take a day to rest. We didn't have much of anything planned well that day, so he slept in and I spent the day cleaning up our apartment because we've been told that we're having inspections soon, and also resting a bit. We left for the English classes that afternoon but afterwards we went back and ended the day early. The good news is that Elder Molina has been getting better, and also I haven't gotten that sick yet. But, we'll see.
Besides that, we've been working with Rosa Maria, the woman who we've been teaching a lot, and she went to the temple in Madrid with the ward here and helped with a nursery for some kids while their parents were in the temple. She really liked it, and she has a great helpful spirit.
Also, to continue with the story of the Bulgarian and Chinese mothers that we met a week ago, they both came with each of their sons to the English classes last Tuesday, and they loved it, then they stayed for a ward activity that we put on, a Family Home Evening where either the Hermanas or us share a spiritual message, then we play some games and have snacks, and they loved that too. On Friday, when we had English classes again, the mothers couldn't come but they had their sons come, and even though they're 10 years old we were able to make it enjoyable for them. We're working with them and they're very nice.
Anyway, I hope you all have a great week! Next Monday my companion Elder Molina will go home to Barcelona so I'll get a new companion! I find out who it is this Saturday. Talk to you all later!
Love,
Elder Corey Dobbs
