One year mark!!

As of today, I have officially been in Spain for one year! At the same time, it's flown by, yet it feels like I've been here forever. It's hard to describe how it really feels. But I've been loving it since the beginning. Looking back, I've learned so much and gained so much experience, but I still have a lot that I want to keep doing to better myself as a person and a missionary.
Anyway, here are just a quick few updates from this week.
Last week we had a few days of torrential rainstorm, which is really uncommon here especially in the summer. It was crazy, and we got soaked more than a few times, but the missionary work kept going strong.
The family we are teaching is doing really well! Felipe and Isabel are doing well, they both really like coming to church, and their kids love having us over and messing with us. They love trying to steal our name tags and stealing our tablets to take selfies and try to find games, but we love them all. We're just helping them learn about the church, as they're starting the process to get legally married so that Isabel can get baptized. It's an awesome experience to teach a family, and I love testifying of all the blessings I've seen in my own family growing up, and helping them care for their kids in the same way.
We helped a woman in the ward move apartments, and we also played soccer with the young men in the ward. It's really different to be in a large ward, but it definitely has a lot of advantages.
Today for our p-day we got to go to the temple, which is always great. Afterwards we played sports with the other missionaries in our zone. Even though it's really hot again, I had a lot of fun playing soccer with everyone.
Right now, everyone in our mission is reading the Book of Mormon before the end of the transfer, because of a challenge President Pack gave us. I'm in Alma 33 right now, and I'm really enjoying it. There's so much spiritual power that comes from reading so much from it, and as I think about my missionary purpose, it's changing my perspective, and making my resolve to be here even stronger. There are so many blessings that the people in the Book of Mormon got, and for their conversion they were so happy. I'm here to help other people see that, and to see it in myself. I love this gospel and I love being a missionary and seeing others receive blessings from living the gospel of Jesus Christ. I hope you all have a great week!
